Doing What You Love

Changes Everything

When I first started this blog, I wasn’t sure where I wanted it to go. I finally decided that there was enough negativity in this world so I wanted my blog to be something positive.

I realize that no one can be a bundle of Joy all the time, but in essence, you do choose what your outlook is. Every day when you wake up, you decide whether to be happy or miserable.

When you make your choice, it becomes easier to maintain that outlook. Even when someone pisses you off or says something to you that hurts, the way you react to that changes how you feel for the rest of the day.

You can still be upset about the situation, but choosing to react in a different manner than you usually do can be a game changer.

Try it some time. It really does work. It might even take a few tries, in fact I know it will. You’ll be amazed at how good you feel when you can keep that smile on your face. Let alone how surprised the offending party will be when they don’t get a rise out of you.

Smile. It makes a big difference to not only you, but to others too. A smile is contagious!

I really like this. It’s true that we get to decide what mood we’re going to be in, it just takes practice. Looking forward to seeing this space of positivity take shape and grow! ❤
